On July, 29th, 2005, the Prime Minister issued the 192/2005/QD-TTg Decision approving for Vietnam Television Technology Investment and Development Company to become Vietnam Multimedia Corperation and to operate under the mother-son model.
The mother company, Vietnam Multimedia Corperation is state-owned and established on the base of re-organising the Vietnam Television Technology Investment and Development Company, belonged to Ministry of Posts and Telematics, with the organisation and management decised by MPT under legal regulations.
Duties' of the mother company are doing business, investing directly to other businesses and its management is formed by legal regulations.
