At the ceremony, Minister of Science and Technology Vu Hai Quan and Minister of Electronics and Information Technology of India Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding on digital technology cooperation. The two sides agreed to strengthen collaboration in key areas such as artificial intelligence, semiconductor technology, digital infrastructure, and the development of innovation ecosystems.

Vietnam and India Promote Strategic Cooperation in Digital Technology and Rare Earths
India will share experience in implementing India Stack, a national platform for digital identity and digital payments. The platform has played an important role in accelerating the development of the digital economy and digital governance in India.
On the same day, Minister Vu Hai Quan also witnessed the exchange of a cooperation agreement between the Institute for Technology of Radioactive and Rare Elements of Vietnam and IREL of India on rare earth research, deep processing, and refining.
Under the agreement, the two sides will establish a joint research group, exchange technical data, analyse ore samples, and coordinate the development of technical standards associated with environmental protection and sustainable development./.
