Minister Vu Hai Quan receives Mr. Yaron Mayer, Israeli Ambassador to Viet Nam
During the meeting, the Ambassador presented an invitation letter to the Minister to attend the fourth session of the Viet Nam – Israel Intergovernmental Committee, scheduled to be held in Israel in late 2026 to discuss promoting economic, scientific-technological, and innovation cooperation.
At the reception, Minister Vu Hai Quan emphasized that Viet Nam identifies science, technology, and innovation as drivers of development, while expressing the desire to enhance cooperation with Israel in joint research, technology business connections, and expert exchange.
Ambassador Yaron Mayer affirmed Israel’s readiness to coordinate in promoting cooperation programs, particularly joint research, expert exchange, and technology business connections.
The two sides also discussed several academic connection activities, including a planned visit to Viet Nam by a Nobel Laureate in Physics at the end of this year./.
