General Secretary and President To Lam witnessed the exchange of cooperation documents between agencies, institutions and enterprises of the two countries in human resource development, science, technology, innovation and digital transformation.
The ceremony was also attended by Minister of Science and Technology Vu Hai Quan and Minister of Electronics and Information Technology of India Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw.
The documents exchanged at the ceremony involved leading universities, research institutions, associations and enterprises from Viet Nam and India, including cooperation between:
- Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City and the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee;
- The Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology of Viet Nam, the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, and the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing of India;
- The Viet Nam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) and the National Association of Software and Service Companies of India (NASSCOM);
- HTI Investment and Technology Joint Stock Company of Viet Nam and Cognyte Technologies of India;
- Viet Nam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) and HCL Technologies Limited (HCLTech) of India.
The exchange of these documents lays the groundwork for practical cooperation programmes in workforce training, joint research, technology transfer, product development, market expansion, and stronger connectivity between the innovation ecosystems of Viet Nam and India./
