Overview of the working session

Expanding and refining mechanisms for the Nexus Programme: The Minister suggested that specialized agencies from both sides review and establish a joint coordination mechanism. Beyond semiconductors, the programme should expand into artificial intelligence and healthcare, including collaboration with the Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED).

Investing in a pilot-scale chip research and manufacturing facility (Mini Fab Lab) at the Viet Nam - Japan University: This initiative aims to address existing challenges in practical training and trial chip production. Viet Nam stands ready to provide matching funds alongside Japan for the project./.
