The Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology is a ministerial unit which performs two fundamental functions as follows:
+ a public educational and training institute for the society and for demands of the information and communication sector in Viet Nam;
+ Do the scientific research, consultancy, technology transfer in the fields of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology in order to meet the demands of the society and of the information and communications sector in Viet Nam.
