The Office of the Ministry of Information and Communications is a ministerial unit (hereinafter called "the Ministry Office") which performs the advisory functions, setting working programs and plans, coordinating the joint activities among other ministerial agencies and units; implements the administrative works, the in-and-out documents; archiving; financing, accounting, ensuring working facilities and conditions to serve all performances of the Ministry and performing its internal management.
The Ministry Office has its tasks and powers according to Decision 688/QD-BTTTT dated 10 May 2017 of the Minister of Information and Communications prescribing the functions, duties, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry Office.
The Ministry Office has its own seal and accounts in accordance with the provision of law.
